2001 Rafael Palmeiro Game-Used, Signed, Inscribed Bat

This 34″, 31-oz. Rawlings 619B was used by Rafael Palmeiro in his 2001 season with the Texas Rangers. In that season, Raffy tied his career high with 47 home runs. The Cuban-born star took some serious whacks with this Big Stick, as evidenced by the many ball, cleat, transfer, and bat rack marks on the barrel. Palmeiro signed his name, as well as “GAME USED” in black felt tip (“7”). The handle is severely cracked, and is heavily layered with pine tar. “31 Palmeiro” is written in green pen on the knob (which is wrapped in tape), signifying the weight of the bat.
