2002 Corey Dillon Game-Worn Bengals Jersey w/Heavy Use

Out of stock

SKU: 27539 Category:

In NFL standards, Corey Dillion was stuck in purgatory when he played for the Bengals. Blocking was nearly nonexistent for the workhorse-type running back. After finally gaining his freedom in 2004, he helped the Patriots win their third Lombardi Trophy in four years. This [size] “48” Reebok jersey was worn in the trenches during the 2002 season, when Dillion had one of his better rushing seasons. Solid running back use is shown on this beauty with a number of hit marks on the verso numerals. The back “8” has been abused with heavy scuff marks. A 3/4″ unrepaired hole appears inside the top of the “8.” Moderate puckering can be seen on all of the identifiers which are sewn on in two-color tackle twill. The Bengals stripes are screened on the jersey in-between where the shoulder and sleeve meet. Team patches adorn both sides of the customized sleeves. An “02-48” strip tag appears in the collar. The jersey has been cut and hemmed above the tag line.
