2003-04 Pedro Martinez Red Sox Game-Used, Bat

This X Bat Model 24 was used by three-time Cy Young Award winner Pedro Martinez during the 2003-04 seasons when he was with the Red Sox. The pitching ace did have a few during interleague play when he threw for the Red Sox. The barrel of this beauty is ripe with blue and white ball transfer marks, as well as hit marks. The “31” that is written in silver pen on the inside of the cupped barrel is off a bit, as the bat actually weighs 32.5 ounces and sits 33.5 inches in length. The handle sports a 10″ spiral taping, and Pedro’s number “45” is written in silver pen on the knob. According to our bat authenticator this treasure was probably used in batting practice.
