2003 David Ortiz Game-Worn, Signed Red Sox Glove

Regardless of the score, David Ortiz is always all smiles. Revered by teammates, Ortiz is one of the most popular Red Sox players in some time. The lovable first sacker used this Mizuno glove during his first season in Beantown – 2003. The Classic Series model MWV-3000 first baseman’s mitt is black and features “David Ortiz” embroidered on the thumb in white thread. The glove measures 12 3/4″ and has a dual post web. According to glove expert Denny Esken, the glove has been well worn and shows solid major league use. A Clubhouse Collectibles hologram is affixed near the Ortiz embroidery. A yellow Mizuno manufacturer’s designator is located near the index finger. Ortiz signed the glove in paint pen.
