2003 Hank Blalock Game-Used, Signed Mitt “2003 All-Star Game Glove”

Hank Blalock thwarted plenty of rallies with this glove at the hot corner. Offered is the glove which the third baseman used in the 2003 All-Star Game when he made his presence known with the go-ahead home run off the irrepressible Eric Gagne late in the game. This Rawlings model Pro NP5 TLB black glove, made from “heart of the hide” leather, features the pro style H “I-Web.” Heavy use is shown on the 11 3/4″ mitt, suggesting it was used for the first half of the season. A 2 3/4″ rip is located on the inside pocket of the glove. “HANK BLALOCK” is embroidered on the thumb in red script. Rawlings’ famous red tag is placed on the leather wrist strap. Blalock gave his full endorsement with a silver paint pen signature and inscription “2003 All-Star Game Glove” on the back.
