2003 Ruben Sierra Game-Worn Yankees Batting Helmet, w/Steiner Paperwork

Ruben Sierra is one of those feel-good stories that will warm your heart. At the age of 32, Sierra was without a team and was stuck in neutral. Somehow, the former MVP candidate latched on with the Texas Rangers in 2000 at the ripe age of 34. The sweet swinging switch-hitter has been contributing like he did when he was an All-Star, now with the Yankees. This [size] “7 1/8” batting helmet was used by Sierra in 2003. The foam on the inside shows a great deal of use and an MLB hologram as well as American Baseball Company sticker appear on the inside. The bill of the helmet shows a “24” sticker while the back showcases an MLB emblem and “24.” Great use is shown on the helmet with dirt and scuff marks. A Steiner hologram is affixed on the inside, and a letter from Steiner will also be forwarded to the winner. Steiner has become the exclusive broker of Yankees game-used memorabilia.
