2004 Jose Guillen Game-Used Bat, Signed and Inscribed

Jose Guillen kept the Washington Nationals in contention for much of the 2005 season with his hot hitting, and likely notched a number of hits with this Adirondack bat, as the barrel of this two-toned beauty displays multiple rack marks and ball scuffs. Knob features proper “456MA” and “561 ’04” stamps which affirm it was initially issued to Guillen for use in 2004 while a member of the Anaheim Angels; a season which came to an abrupt and highly controversial end for the fiery outfielder. His number “6”, worn with both Anaheim and Washington, is markered in black felt tip on the knob, and Guillen has added the ultimate in provenance with a signature rendered on the barrel in silver paint, adding the inscription, “2005 Washington Nationals.”
