2004 Roger Clemens Game-Used, Signed Astros Jacket (w/Hologram)

When Roger Clemens wasn’t busy embarrassing a new generation of hitters, he had to stay warm. He did pitch every fifth day, mind you. In 2004, when the Rocketman was in the dugout observing his teammates, he wore this size “XXL” Astros jacket. He also wore it to stay warm between innings when he was called to duty. This jacket has an underscored “ASTROS” team insignia on the front. The sides are accentuated by an American flag patch (right sleeve) and Astros team identifier (left). A softened Majestic label comfortably rests in the collar. Suspended from the manufacturer’s label is a size identifier. “22” is written on the Majestic tag. Secured in the inner side gusset is a fabric/washing instructions tag, which also has his number written. Both of the “22” pennings have assimilated into the tag, suggesting this garment saw the washing machine a number of times. Clemens signed the front in black felt tip. Authentication comes via a Houston Sports Investments LOA. Also of note are two holograms near the autograph: MLB and Tri-Star.
