2005-06 Upper Deck Alexander Ovechkin Graded RC Card #443 Young Guns – BGS GEM MT 9.5

This season Alex Ovechkin entered his 17th season. He was sixth in NHL history with 730 goals, and was 165 away from breaking Gretzky’s record of 894. That’s an average of 33 goals per season during the five-year contract Ovechkin signed with Washington on July 27, with Gretzky’s record at least part of his motivation. With the current pace he is at, it is possible to break Gretzky’s record soon. 

It goes without saying that Alexander Ovechkin is one of hockey’s most prolific goal scorers. He is only the eighth player to reach the NHL’s 700 career goal mark and did it faster than most in that elite list.

Presented is one of those wonderous treasures. It indeed is his 2005-06 Upper Deck  #443 Rookie Card. It was encapsulated and graded by BGS (Beckett) as an outstanding GEM MINT 9.5. The sub grades are as follows: Centering: 10; Edges 9.5; Corners 9 and Surface 9.5.
