The major identifier on game-worn- pro- shoes is the presence of the “Sample Tagging”  on the tongue interior tagging which on these shoes indicates “PYE SAMPLE” player-issued status.   Completely correct for game-used shoes..  Insoles are another determining factor on game-worn basketball shoes.  Many times the insoles would be removed for player comfort and specifications.   Iverson’s shoes were known to have the insoles remaining inside.  The insoles specifically provide a medical chart full of the many injuries Iverson had suffered to that point of his career. The list literally starts all the way up at the toes with such obscure injuries as “Right Knee Hematoma, Right Knee Synovitis, Right Knee Lesion of the Trochlear Groove, Right Elbow Contusion, Left Shoulder Strain,” etc.   Fittingly, his favorite phrase “Only The Strong Survive” is again stamped on the insole heel and on the outside white panel of the sneaker.  Apropo the shoe Size 10.5.   Iverson has signed each shoe on the white side panel ” HOF 16″ in black Sharpie. The pair shows solid game use with some light scuffing and contact marks.

Socks have Official NBA logo, quarter white socks have been tucked inside the shoe implying that the socks were worn by the owner of the shoes, which would be Iverson.  There are no specific identifiers that would establish or qualify that these would be specific to Iverson.  However, it is implied that that these socks would have belonged and worn by the owner of the shoes, Allen Iverson.
