2005 David Ortiz Game-Used, Signed Red Sox Jersey “05 Game Use” w/Steiner LOA

David Ortiz went from a lightly regarded slugger who was used to prolonged slumps into a superstar. All it took was a change of venue. Big Papi has a legion of fans in Red Sox Nation. The man who has settled into the middle of the Red Sox lineup, Ortiz wore the offered size "54" jersey during the 2005 season. Authentication is secured with a Steiner certificate. The use on this jersey is  moderate with light rippling on the two-color tackle twill numbers. There is staining/soiling in the shoulder region and in the verso collar. Sewn in the tail is a Majestic label and "34 54 05" swatch. Situated in the inner side gusset is Majestic’s "0062" inventory code which has curled from launderings. Ortiz offered his personal blessing with a signature on the verso "4" and inscription "05 Game Use."
