Critics have long charged that the Indianapolis Colts have no defense. This is no longer the case, as the Colts recently developed one of the top defensive units in the NFL – and their standard-bearer is Dwight Freeney. The All-Pro squeezed into the offered [size] “44” jersey while the Colts were flirting with history in 2005. Moderate wear is shown with noticeable fraying on the single-color identifiers and decent numeral puckering. “FREENEY” is sewn to a nameplate. The shoulder yokes are crafted in blue dazzle cloth while the body is of a mesh material. A Reebok tag appears in the tail with two suspended flag tags: “4” L.B.” and size. Both sleeve ends are custom hemmed. Also included are the pants which Freeney wore last season. The Reebok tag manufacturer’s emblem on the front is slightly washed out. “93” is handwritten in the waistline which is complemented by a Reebok tag and two flag tags: size and “Made in Berlin” exclusivity. An LOA, under Colts letterhead (via Sports Exclusives), accompanies.
