2005 Kevin Arbet Orange Bowl BCS Championship Game-Worn Signed USC Helmet

When Kevin Arbet wore this USC helmet, the Trojans were putting the finishing touches on yet another national championship. Given the Bowl Championship sticker on the back, which is also joined by "AA," American flag and a white warning sticker, this would have been Arbet’s helmet he used when the Trojans dismantled Oklahoma 55-19 to secure the title in the Orange Bowl. Two photos on Getty Images (51914491 and 51914403) show the Trojans wearing the BCS sticker on back. The inside features a single bladder padding system. Stickered on the inner ear hole is a "Univ. of Southern California #30 Do Not Remove Sticker." The burgundy shell shows decent use with a number of scratches and what appears to be yellow end zone paint. Arbet signed the exterior and inscribed "Jan. 4th 2005 USC 55 Okl 19 2005 Natl. Champs 13-0." A jell-filled chinstrap is in place on front.
