2005 NBA All-Star Game Issued Shorts Owned by Paul Pierce – COA 100% Authentic Team

After being chosen by the Boston Celtics with the 10th overall pick in the 1998 NBA draft, Paul Pierce spent the first 15 years of his career with Boston. Pierce’s nickname, “the Truth”, was given to him by Shaquille O’Neal in March 2001. He starred as captain of the Celtics, earning 10 All-Star selections and becoming a four-time All-NBA team member. Pierce combined with Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen in 2007 to form a “Big Three” that led Boston to two NBA Finals and an NBA championship in 2008.

Importantly, we have obtained this Collection from Paul Pierce, which includes all the practice uniforms, shoes, trophies, and photos.  See the entire collection. 

Presented are a pair of 2005 NBA All-Star Game pro model game issued shorts owned by Paul Pierce. The shorts are a special navy blue knit for the Denver All-Star Game.  It is unknown if they were worn in the game by Pierce as there are no player identifiers but it is possible because of the wear. Hence, they were designated as game issued.

Reebok waistband tagging shows the +2″ Rise  with +3″ Inseam, Playdry and [size] 48. The front features side panels that are red with white stripes and blue stars along with the NBA logo at the ends. It sports an Eastern Conference patch centrally on the front of the waistband. The back has the year/location embroidered “05DN”. The shorts show wear with wrinkling throughout. Interestingly, it was an item that came directly from Paul Pierce. Overall, it is a great NBA collectible by itself but since they were owned by Paul Pierce, it makes it that more special.
