Joe Mauer is a hometown hero who stayed in Minnesota when given the choice between playing quarterback at Florida State or signing with the Twins. If he chose, Mauer could run for governor and win be a landslide over anyone else. The Twins’ most popular player cracked this Max bat (34″ and 31.6 ounces) during one of his legendary plate battles. The offered bat shows great use with ball/hit marks on the right barrel and cleat marks on the back and front barrel. The crack (8″) starts about halfway up the handle and runs to the Max trademark sticker. A light application of pine tar is visible on the barrel. “7” is written on a Max sticker on the knob. A quality gamer from one of baseball’s good guys.
