Dwyane Wade was part of the Miami Heat foundation that earned the team three NBA Championships. In 2006, Wade along with Shaquille O’Neal led the team to the first of the Heat’s trophies. That season, Wade was the Finals MVP as the his squad won in six over the Dallas Mavericks. He finished the 2005–06 regular season averaging 27.2 points, 6.7 assists, 5.7 rebounds, and 1.95 steals per game.
Wade wore these sneakers while on the floor during the 2006 NBA All-Star Game. He made the game-winning put-back off of the Philadelphia 76ers’ Allen Iverson’s missed shot, to lead the East to a 122–120 victory over the West. He scored 20 points on 9/11 field goals in 30 minutes of play.
Made for this special event, they are red, white and blue Converse All-Star with interior tagging showing they are [Size]: 15 with a code 1H 05 10 and SKU: AV203. As per the code stamping it was issued in October of 2005 and the All-Star event was in FEB 2006. The inserts customized for Wade still remain in the shoe. The exterior also has the special time coding on the side 00.00.8 and a red “WADE” flap in the toe box.
Each shoe sports autographs of the EAST and the WEST teams which the different sides represented on their respective sneaker. There are 19 total signatures in black felt tip. Signatures include: LeBron James (signed twice), Allen Iverson, Kobe Bryant, Ben Wallace, Rasheed Wallace, Shaquille O’Neal, Chris Bosh, Vince Carter, Richard Hamilton, Yao Ming, Vince Carter, Steve Nash, Ray Allen, Shawn Marion, Kevin Garnett, Pau Gasol, Elton Brand (GM) and other.
Overall, these are an impressive pair of sneakers that are impossible to obtain considering they are from a memorable career game. Fortunately, they originated from a family/NBA source that were willing to part with them.
