Description
Cory Lidle was an American professional baseball player. A right-handed pitcher, Lidle played in Major League Baseball with the New York Mets, Tampa Bay Devil Rays, Oakland Athletics, Toronto Blue Jays, Cincinnati Reds, Philadelphia Phillies and the New York Yankees from 1997 to 2006. Lidle was killed when the small aircraft he owned crashed into a residential building in New York City.
Presented is a 2006 Corey Lidle game-issued jersey from his time with the Bronx Bombers. It showcases single-color midnight navy blue tackle twill identifiers including his jersey number on the back “30” and the Yankee logo on the front. Sewn in the tail is a Majestic label, along with two suspended flag tags: 2006 and [size] 46. Interior tagging has proper “0062” coding in the seam. The jersey does not show any wear rendering it game-issued.
