2006 (Nov. 12) Rex Grossman Game-Used, Unwashed Bears Uniform (w/Team Letter)

Rex Grossman has all of one year of playing time under his belt. That makes the scrutiny he has absorbed so much more puzzling. While maybe not the second coming of Montana or Unitas, Grossman has the ability to keep the Bears among the NFC’s elite for a long time. This unwashed uniform ensemble was worn by the up-and-coming QB on Nov. 12, 2006 as Chiacgo ripped the Giants. Grossman was on top of his game and tossed for 246 yards and three touchdowns. All of the identifiers are sewn on in two-color tackle twill. One helmet scrape is evident at the bottom of the verso “8” identifier. “GROSSMAN” is sewn to a nameplate and has experienced light fraying. Both sleeve ends are custom hemmed, and the sides support spandex inserts. A heavily ruckled Reebok tag appears in the tail with a suspended [size] “46” flag tag. Also included are the matching pants worn by Grossman that day. All of the correct tagging is featured in the inner waistline. Documentation comes via a Bears (Game Exclusives) letter.
