2006 Taylor Buchholz Team-Issued Jersey Astros – COA 100% Authentic TeamGo Back
Taylor Buchholz started out as a minor leaguer for the Philadelphia Phillies. In 2003, he was dealt with Ezequiel Astacio and Brandon Duckworth to the Astros for all-star closer Billy Wagner. Originally forgotten by many fans due to Astacio and Duckworth both quickly being brought up to the majors, Buchholz proceeded to impress scouts in the minors, showing promise for the future. Buchholz was called up to the Astros main roster in the 2006 season.
Presented is a Taylor Buchholz game-issued jersey from his time with the Astros. On the front left tail is the “Majestic” manufacturer’s tag. Attached is the size “46” flag tag. Inside the left seam is a wash tag with code “0062” on it. Across the front is “ASTROS” in maroon/gold/black. Below that on the front is the player number “39” in matching tackle twill. Across the back is the player name “BUCHHOLZ” sewn on a nameplate. Below on back is the player number “39” in the same tackle twill.
There is Velcro between the second and third button on the top of the jersey to help keep the jersey in line properly. On the back of the collar is the official “MLB” logo patch. On the left sleeve is the “TEXAS” patch with the “Majestic” embroidered logo below. On the right sleeve is the “2006 Celebrating 45 Years” patch. Overall, a nice Houston Astros jersey.
