2007 ESPY Awards Jacket Worn by Terrell Owens COA 100% Authentic TeamGo Back
The ESPYS gather top celebrities from sports and entertainment to commemorate the past year’s best sports stories by recognizing major achievements, reliving unforgettable moments and saluting the leading performers and performances. The 2007 ESPYs will include both sport-specific awards such as Best Breakthrough Athlete and Best Game and distinguishing “Best in Sport” awards, categories that put different sports against each other, such as Best Team. The ESPYs are committed to the advancement of The V Foundation for Cancer Research, established by ESPN with the late Jim Valvano and announced at the inaugural ESPYs in 1993.
In the 2007 season, Terrell Owens and the Cowboys began to live up to their potential. On November 18, Owens set a new career high and tied a franchise record, with four touchdown catches against the Washington Redskins. With his touchdown catch against Green Bay on November 29, Owens became the first player in NFL history with at least one touchdown catch and six receptions in seven straight games. Also with this win, the Cowboys clinched a playoff berth for the second consecutive season, making this the third time Owens would participate in back-to-back postseasons. Owens was one of the starting wide receivers to represent the NFC in the Pro Bowl along with Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald. On January 9, Owens made the All-Pro team along with teammates Jason Witten and DeMarcus Ware.
Presented is a white blazer jacket that was worn by Terrell Owens to the 2007 ESPY Awards. The back features a blue/white beaded rhinestone Dallas Cowboys star as that was the NFL team he was on that year. Tagging shows it is a elevee custom clothing for Terrell Owens specifically (as provided by the patch information). The original pocket square is included along with a golden event pin. Overall, it shows nice wear throughout.
Amazingly, it also had tickets from the event in the pockets so they will be included for optimum provenance. There’s also an event photo match of Owens wearing the jacket on the red carpet.
Interestingly, it was an item that came directly from the famous purchase of Terrell Owen’s Storage unit as reported by TMZ. Overall, it is a great one of kind Brioni collectible by itself but since it came out of the unit with the provenance of being owned and worn by Owens it makes it that more special.
A copy of the original purchase receipt will add proof and provenance.
