Description
Presented is a pair of pre-game Nike sneakers worn by Heisman Trophy winner, Jameis Winston. These were worn during the season as well as for pre-game festivities and on-field walk through of the 2013 BCS National Championship. They were worn basically for the duration of time before the team put on their cleats for a game.
They are Nike Lunar TR1 model with tagging in the interior side panel. The label shows the size “13”, manufacturer date “FA12” and important “PROMO SAMPLE” print. Overall, they a show tremendous season of use with foot compression wear and soiling throughout.
Here’s what makes it unique to Jameis Winston. The back of the heels feature a markered “134” in black felt tip. This number was Winston’s field number. Each team member was issued a specific field number so their team related items would remain anonymous.  Oftentimes, the players would get bombarded after they were getting off of the team bus (for example) and the number was used as a loss prevention measure.
The shoes include a signed provenance LOA from a close friend of Jameis Winston. He was also a graduate of Florida State University. Â The shoes were gifted to him after the National Championship game because of their friendship.Â
