2020 LeBron James Lakers Game-Worn Jersey Icon Edition COA 100% Authentic GRADE 14/20

AUTHENTICATION STATUS:  PASS  GRADE:  14/20

This is Lebron James Game-Worn jersey he wore during their championship year.  It has the Kobe Bryant memorial patch and the David Stern memorial patch.   It was also the last game before the Covid shut down, to end the season temporarily and it was against the Brooklyn Nets March 10, 2020.

The KOBE black memorial patch is sewn on the right shoulder above the purple NIKE swoosh.  The WISH foundation patch with a black armband has been affixed to the right chest and shoulder.

The collar is adorned with the white/purple/yellow striping width is correct. “LAKERS” is sewn on double tackle twill purple/white.

The “23” is sewn onto the front with purple mesh fabric with white tackle twill.  The drop and placement is correct.

TAGGING: MEIGREY sewn on authentication number: LALW 03642.  The sequential Meigrey numeral would be in the correct succession of other Lebron Jerseys tagged by Meigrey.  The Meigrey number is not registered which means that the jersey was never submitted to Meigrey.  This is not an unusual occurrence with the Meigrey numbers not being registered with the company or submitted to them.

“Engineered To The Exact Specifications of Championship Athletes SAB79161N1” tagging and code is sewn onto the front left tail.  The sequential number is also correct. There is an interior white NIKE flag tag sewn into the seam. Stamped on the interior of the jersey is “NIKE VAPORSPORT   Size 52 Made in Thailand”.

“JAMES”  NOB is sewn onto the back of the yellow mesh jersey in purple twill above the player identifier.  During this March 10, 2020 game,  the NOB is sewn on above the player numeral unlike in the June and August games where the NOB is sewn on underneath the player identifier.  “16” commemorative patch is sewn onto the back collar.  The NBA logo is sewn on above the NOB.

The jersey modifications are specific to Lebron James Size ’52” with +6 Extra Length flag tag.

The jersey is in good used condition.  There is softness throughout the jersey due to wear.  The wear on the jersey is light but that is apropos with basketball jerseys.  This jersey is very specific due to the patch placements and the NOB placement.  We have matched it to the March 10, 2020 game.

Provenance:  The jersey was sourced directly from the locker room and has a staff account of being worn.

Photo match:  There are several areas on the front of the jersey that would be considered a possible photo match. There are threads within the LAKERS  “A” and “R” and “S”.   The mesh hole pattern around the numerals also match up as per the Getty Images from the game.
