Description
A Roger Federer Game-Issued Custom Nike Tennis Shirt from the 2010/11 ATP Season. This top was custom designed for Roger for use in either late 2010 or early 2011. The style was left unworn by Roger, who wore the same style in a different color during the 2011 Miami tournament. This top is sold as unworn/issued, but was a part of Roger’s original equipment and it’s possible it would have been worn behind closed doors during training. Upon close inspection, you will come to find the following signs of use throughout this garment: the garment has a feel of use, but was not worn during tournament play by Roger, so the possibility exists that it was worn during practice/training. no significant damage or markings are evident. item remains in very good condition.
Please take a moment to review the authentication notes provided, as well as the provided photographs.
1. No size label is present. Only a Nike swoosh appears in the neckline where a size label would normally appear. The garment has been custom tailored to Roger’s exact measurements.
2. RF detail to left sleeve. Thermally applied.
3. Nike swoosh to chest in thermal application.
4. Thermally bonded seams throughout.
5. Swiss flag detail cutout at lower sides.
6. Shirt is grey with orange and light blue trim.
7. “Custom Athlete” identifier tag to inner neckline has been cut out. You can see the remnants of this label in the neckline.
8. Additional details apply.
A unique Federer example from the 10/11 season. An interesting garment in the same style as Roger’s 2011 Miami outfit, in a different colorway.
