Description
A Vitas Gerulaitis Game-Used Sergio Tacchini Tennis Polo Shirt dating to the mid 1970’s. This particular top is believed to date to between 1974-1976. This top was a part of Vitas’ personally owned original equipment and was worn on court during match play. Accompanying the shirt: A telecaster’s information card for Vitas, and a small Panini collector’s sticker. Gerulaitis won the 1977 Australian Open, and was a revered American tennis player. His untimely death in 1994 left the tennis community stunned. Upon close inspection, you will come to find the following signs of use throughout this item: The garment has the feel of a garment nearly 40 years old. No significant damage or staining is evident. Normal signs of use, while remaining in excellent condition for it’s age.

3. Garment is comprised of a white mesh-like cotton. Collar and button placket in navy blue.
4. Garment is marked as a size US Medium, but is slimmer than today’s standards which was appropriate for that era.
