Description

William C. Schultz  Memorial Commemorative Guitar was created in 2008 by Fender for Bill’s Memorial.  This is one of 4 that Fender ever created.

Schultz bought Fender, when CBS decided to sell the struggling company in 1985. Schultz and several other employees purchased it.   Schultz saved Fender and turned the company around.  Together, Schultz and Mendello (photo) completed a leveraged buy-out of Fender Musical Instruments, then a division of CBS Inc., in March of 1985. Since that time they have rebuilt the once-struggling company by restoring its legendary status among musicians and music enthusiasts alike, and today FMIC is the undisputed world leader in musical instruments. Fender Stratocaster’s are the most sought after guitar.

The American made Strat’s, are more expensive and still remain to be the more desirable guitar.  This particular Inca Silver USA -Corona Made guitar was created by FENDER for a golfing memorial event for the William C. Schultz.  The top 4 golfers received this guitar.  Serial: Z8158389
