MGM master animators Bill Hanna and Joseph Barbera started their own company in 1957 . With Hanna-Barbera, the duo created over 2,000 characters for classic television animated series. They created The Flintstones, the first animated prime-time series. The Flintstones ended its initial run in 1966 but the lovable cartoon characters have carried on throughout the ages in spin-offs, television specials and animated/live-action feature films.
Presented is a remarkable 16×20 hand painted animation cel of the Flintstones in a courtroom signed by five of the cast members. This artwork was done in 1993 and part of a limited edition: Hanna-Barbera Original Hand Painted Cel stamped 6523 and hand numbered on opposite side 385/400. Signers in black felt tip include: Ann Margaret (Ann Margrock); Tony Curtis (Stoney Curtis); Harvey Korman (The Great Gazoo); Bill Hanna and Joe Barbera.
All of the character name inscriptions were penned in the hand of each signer.
