Product Description

This item originates from famous collector Dr. Lonnie Hammargren. Hammargren is a longtime Las Vegas resident since 1969. He was the Lt. Governor of Nevada from 1995-99 and was a candidate for Governor of Nevada in 1998. His eastside home was featured three times on Robin Leach’s: Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous. It was also featured on the Travel Channel’s show Vegas VIP Homes and a HGTV show, What’s With That House? It has since become a museum to Las Vegas past. It is usually open for tours on Nevada Day with 8000 attending the Centennial Celebration in 2005.

Yes, it is the actual staircase that was used on stage for Liberace’s performances at the Las Vegas Casino.  Currently installed and usable now, in Dr. Hammegrin’s abode, this staircase has fame of its own.  Pictured and reviewed in many articles, Liberace’s most famous scene was with him wearing the most extravagant white fur coat.

The staircase is approximately 12-14 ft high 3.5 foot wide.  It is able to be dis-assembled, shipped and re-assembled.   Featuring the clear acrylic posts and crystals, the staircase is still royal and regal.  Without question, it is a well documented staircase.  Whether it is actually used as a staircase or preserved for it’s grandiosity, this piece will be a conversation piece.

COA will be the provenance letter from Dr. Lonnie Hammergrin documenting its journey from Liberace’s home to his.
