Presented from their collection is a Andre Johnson Miami Hurricanes game-worn home jersey. It is an orange Hurricanes home jersey, that is multi-layered and designed by Nike. Of note, is the particularly rich hue of orange which showcases the mesh portion of the body. It features Johnson’s number “5” printed on the chest, back, and shoulders in white with green borders.
On the back nameplate, “JOHNSON” is printed across the back shoulders in white lettering. The front chest features a Big East patch, a green Nike swoosh and the Miami “U” logo. The sides of the jersey are elasticized for fit and accented in orange, green, and white. A size “46” tag with a handwritten “1” designator for game worn in black felt tip is sewn in collar. The jersey shows mild-to-moderate wear overall.
Johnson took the time to autograph the front chest area in black felt tip (“8”) for the team source added value as well as his game used validation.
