Andy Van Slyke Game-Used Bat

Andy Van Slyke had that picture perfect left-hander swing which produced countless wins for the Pittsburgh Pirates. Van Slyke wielded this Louisville Slugger model C243 bat during some of his plate appearances from 1991-94. This uncracked ash stick (33 1/2″ and 31.2 ounces) shows light use with bat rack marks, and a few ball scuffs appear on the bottom barrel. “18” has been markered on both ends. A fine specimen from a heady player with a big heart.
