Isadore “Friz” Freleng is best known as an animator, cartoonist and director for his groundbreaking work on the Looney Tunes series at Warner Bros. He introduced and helped develop several of Warner Bros. biggest stars, including Bugs Bunny, Porky Pig, Tweety Bird, Sylvester the cat, Yosemite Sam and Speedy Gonzales. Freleng also won four Academy Awards during his tenure with the studio. After Warners shut down, Freleng and business partner David DePatie founded DePatie-Freleng Enterprises and produced cartoons such as the Pink Panther and other Saturday morning cartoons through the early 80s.

Offered here is a culmination of his life work “Animation: The art of Friz Freleng – Volume One” by Friz Freleng with David Weber. The book is actually comprised of two parts. The first being Animators workbook detailing his work which is signed on the title page beautifully in black felt tip, rating “10” in quality. The second part contains an audiotape “Words and Music” and a videotape “Freleng Frame by Frame” both of which are in MINT condition. The entire collection comes with its own COA from Donovan Publishing and is a limited edition set numbered 655/4000. The entire collection is in NM/MT condition and is a fantastic addition to any collection.
