Steve Kaufman, accomplished Pop Artist, has created works of art for many celebrities and of many celebrities. He is an artist that gives back to his community having hired over 796 gang members directly out of the prison system to help him in his East L.A. studio, works with the homeless, planted 1000 orange trees in East L.A. and South Central, created the September 11th Memorial, and the world’s largest canvas painting for Caesar’s Palace Las Vegas, among countless other accomplishments.
Oscar De La Hoya is a worthy subject for this painting, Olympic Gold Medalist and World Title holder in 5 weight classes. This 36″ x 36″ canvas is a flesh colored silk screen of De La Hoya in fighting stance, draped in his title belts. The background is gold and the title fight statistics are in white at the top and bottom of the painting. The belts are the focal point with beautiful reds, greens, golds, blue, and white bringing them alive. The canvas is in excellent condition and the work is signed on the back by the artist in black Sharpie “SAK” and numbered AP (Artist Proof) 20/25. Oscar De La Hoya signed his name in black Sharpie in the center of the painting, a 10/10 signature!
