1982 Cracker Jack Old Timers’ Day Team-Signed OAL (MacPhail) Baseball 23 Autographs Incl. Ted Williams, Rick Ferrell, Bob Doerr etc.

The first Cracker Jack Old Timers’ Baseball Classic held in Washington, D.C. was in 1982. It was a fundraiser for the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association. Most of the game’s legendary retired players participated. Players like Mickey Mantle, Stan Musial, Luke Appling and Warren Spahn delighted the crowd. The annual game ended in the mid-1980s.

This autographed OAL (MacPhail) baseball is from the inaugural event and it features a Ted Williams signature on the sweet spot in blue felt tip pen (“9”). A total of 23 signatures present on the ball with Mel Parnell, Bill Goodman, Rick Ferrell, Jackie Jenson, Rico Petrocelli, Bobby Doerr along with many others.
