Beam 1970 “95th Kentucky Derby” Decanter, Sealed with Contents.
Out of stock
Gorgeous and rare sealed decanter from Regal China and Kentucky’s own Jim Beam, commemorating the historic 95th Run For The Roses, with the reverse honoring the first champion (1885) – Aristides. The obverse displays the facade of the Derby’s home; Churchill Downs, in raised ceramic details. Gold highlights and soft pastel colors create an extremely appealing and tasteful display. And speaking of taste – it’s still sealed with original tax stamp and all contents intact, which translates to 4/5 quart of fine 100-month-old Kentucky bourbon (which 35 years later, translates to 43 years). 11 inches high and NM/MT with all original labeling, etc., and “1969” marked under the base. Given the subject matter and occasion, quite doubtful many of these gems have escaped 35 years of temptation and revelry.
(This lot is being sold as a collectible container. Buyer must be 21 years of age).
