Ben Grieve Game-Used Rawlings Green Glove

The Oakland A’s get very high grades when it comes to scouting. In the last 20 years, Oakland has been home to the AL Rookie of the Year six times. Ben Grieve was one of the honorees when he won the award in 1998. Grieve wore this glove during his beginnings in 1997, or in his official rookie season of 1998. The Rawlings Pro G125 4P 12 1/4″ glove is originally sourced from Tony LaRussa’s Animal Rescue Foundation, so its origin is impeccable. Made from uniquely green “Heart of the Hide” leather, the glove was assembled with black lacing throughout. “Ben Grieve” is embroidered on the thumb in yellow stitching. Tremendous use is shown and Grieve placed a solid signature in silver paint pen on the palm.
