2004 Ben Roethlisberger Game-Issued Steelers Jersey COA 100% Authentic

Authentication Status:  PASS

2004 was Ben Roethlisberger’s Rookie Season.  According to Rogers who handled the locker room at that time, he stated that Ben only had ordered a very minimal amount of size “48” jerseys.   This “48” size was not the proper fit for Ben. Ben then went to size “50”.   Ben wore size “48” only for 2 games and Ben according to Rogers has these jerseys.

Therefore, we would conclude that due to the consistencies on the jersey and certain specifications we could say that this black mesh Steelers Jersey with the player numeral “7” was issued by the team.

Condition: The jersey is in very good condition. There are no holes or tears and or markings that would be inappropriate for a 2004 Steelers jersey.  The NOB “Roethlisberger” does have pulling through the stitching.  We don’t believe this is due to wear or washing.

The sleeve cut is also correct with the black/yellow/black/white striping.  Striping size is also correct. It is a mesh jersey with spandex side seams and spandex shoulders.  This would also be correct for 2004 Steeler Jerseys. The size of the shoulder spandex is also correct.

The STEELERS logo is sewn onto the front of the shirt with proper placement.

Modification:  The player numeral “7” has been sewn on to the front, shoulders, and back of the jersey. The font is correct.   NOB “Roethlisberger” is sewn onto the nameplate on the back of the shirt.

Wear: The jersey would not show any use if it was issued, or any wear would not be attributed to wear by Roethlisberger.

Tags: The tagging is correct.  The REEBOK manufacturer label is sewn into the front tail.  There are no other indicators or writing on the front tagging.  Size “48” flag tag is sewn on adjacent.  There is a strip tag in the collar with computerized “04-48” printed on the strip tag.

Size: The jersey is a size “48” and would only be an appropriate size worn by Roethlisberger for the first 2 games of the season.  As per sourcing from the locker room, these jerseys worn by Ben, were not available or ever given out or sold to the public.  Rather, Ben and Rogers had kept both of them.
