Presented is a two page letter that Bill Russell wrote to Larry Bird. The typed signed letter is on his personal Russell stationary was written on January 14, 1991 and it was in regards to the 100th Anniversary of Basketball and the Basketball Alumni Association. The letter was a proposal in terms of organization. It was personally signed on the second page after the closing salutation in black ballpoint (“9”) with his full name William F. Russell.
