Batman first appeared in Detective Comics #27 in May of 1939, created by Bob Kane in what would become his signature creation. Batman became the hero to the downtrodden, the protector of Gotham City. Kane produced the original Batman from its inception until the 1960s.
Presented is a beautiful, Batman and Robin lithograph. It was made in 1978 by the man, Bob Kane. The lithograph has vibrant colors and is in great condition. The DC COMICS 1978 STAMP, GALLERY blindstamp can be found imprinted in the lower left border area. 300 numbered lithographs were in the final print run and this one is 33/300. Each copy in this edition has been hand signed by Bob Kane in pencil (“9-10″) and produced to the highest standards on high quality paper. The display measures 29″ x 38.5” (there is some scratches to the plexiglass).
