Bob Kane Signed Sketch Batman Display “Bats Wishes” – COA JSA

Batman first appeared in Detective Comics #27 in May of 1939, created by Bob Kane in what would become his signature creation. Batman became the hero to the downtrodden, the protector of Gotham City. Kane produced the original Batman from its inception until the 1960s.

Presented here in all its improvisational glory is a wonderful hand sketch of “Batman” by Bob Kane. Showing his distinctive style and flair Kane produces a wonderful image from blue, green, yellow and black felt tip, resonating his early classical work of the Dark Knight. The autograph with inscription “Bats Wishes”, as well as the sketch, impact a “10” in quality against the white stock. The display is custom with a cut out feature on the bottom and measures 19″ x 24″.
