Description

The image of  Bobby Clarke, with a toothless grin, embracing the Stanley Cup and winking following the Flyers’ victory in the 1975 Stanley Cup Finals is considered one of the most iconic and famous photos in the history of the sport of hockey.

After the Philadelphia Flyers (aka Broad Street Bullies) captured their second straight Stanley Cup title in 1975, Captain Bobby Clarke took his second Hart Trophy home for his contribution.

Presented is a 1975 Philadelphia Flyers Stanley Cup Championship ring representing Bobby Clarke. This prototype-like salesman’s sample ring is similar to that which was bestowed upon Clarke and the rest of the Bullies.

The exception is that the top portion is crowned by an enameled black and orange Flyers logo instead of carrying diamonds or CZs. The brass, size 12 ring features one shank design of the NHL logo/Campbell Bowl “CAMPBELL CONFERENCE CHAMPIONS 51-18-11” and other side with the Stanley Cup “CLARKE 1975 – 16”. Engraved inside the band is “BALFOUR BKC” and “SA 131384-8”. A display box is also included.
