Boxing Poster Lot (3) Caesar’s Palace Hagler vs. Duran, Pryor vs. Arguello & 1984 Olympic Box-OffsGo Back
Out of stock
Presented is a collection of boxing posters that originated from Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas where the bouts were fought or presented. Included is:
1983 Marvin Hagler vs. Roberto Duran Poster – Closed Circuit TV. Offered is an original 1983 Marvin Hagler vs. Roberto Duran closed circuit TV poster. Measuring 17″ x 22″, it displays nicely with light wear around the perimeter.
Also, an original Caesars Palace onsite main event poster (22×28) for Aaron Pryor vs. Alexis Arguello on September 9, 1983. The rematch was not as competitive as their first one. It looked as if father time had called time on Arguello after he left everything in the ring in that 1st fight. Pryor dropped Arguello with a right cross in the first round and again with a left hook in the fourth. Pryor put Arguello down for the count in the tenth round as Alexis just sat there staring into space & decided that enough was enough. After the fight, both Arguello and Pryor announced that they were retiring from boxing. The under card match was Thomas Hearns vs. James Green.
Lastly, the 1984 Olympic Boxing – Box-Offs held at Caesar’s Palace poster (22×28). The 12 bouts held at the even were in order to determine the 1984 US Olympic Boxing Team.
