Brandon Webb pitched in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Arizona Diamondbacks from 2003 through 2009, and, after multiple shoulder surgeries, signed with but did not play for the Texas Rangers in 2011. Webb attended the University of Kentucky, where he played college baseball for the Wildcats baseball team.

During his MLB career, Webb won the 2006 National League Cy Young Award and was a three-time MLB All-Star. He was sidelined with injuries for much of 2009–2012 and, after several aborted comeback attempts, retired in 2013. He has the 18th highest Adjusted ERA+ of all major league players with 142.

Presented is a Brandon Webb game worn Arizona Diamondbacks jersey. The pinstripe vest features “WEBB” and number “55” sewn on the back, with the Arizona logo on front. The team/player identifiers are in purple/aqua/white tackle twill.  The button-up jersey has the Majestic MLB Authentic Collection manufacturer label [size] 48. On the rear neck is the official “MLB” logo patch. Interior seam tags have proper coding 0062 and wash instructions. Overall, shows moderate wear with wash wear, thread fraying on the identifiers etc.

Interestingly, this jersey was at some point given to pitching great Curt Schilling (Webb’s team member). It was signed and personalized to him in blue felt tip, “Schill – Thanks for all you have done this year. I wouldn’t be where I’m at now if it were not for you. Thank you.”
