Buddy Holly et al. Autographed Cut
Out of stock
Before his untimely death in February 1959, Buddy Holly became a jukebox favorite in both the U.S. and Great Britain. In the three-year period leading to his demise, he recorded over twenty singles – five of which scaled to the chart’s top-ten. Offered is a signature cut signed “Buddy Holly & The Crickets.” The medium is an autograph album page that has been responsibly extracted. The enterprising fan that obtained this Holly signature offered the same page to be signed by Johnny Moore of the Drifters and five other artists. (These latter were likely obscure musicians.) The 4” x 5” leaf displays a mild residue stain from tape once applied. That blemish, however, is comfortably distant from the singularly most important autograph – the ballpoint signing of Buddy Holly, which projects at a strength of “10”.
