Catcher’s Mitt From Spring Training in Fort Lauderdale – Signed by Ralph Houk, Skowron, Bauer, Ford and Slaughter

Bill Leiderman had special access to Mickey Mantle as the two were business associates with Mickey Mantle’s Restaurant.  This Lite Toe Rawlings catcher’s mitt was gifted from Mantle to Leiderman at a fantasy camp. The orange target mitt was used in the 1980s by the likes of Lance Parrish and Rick Dempsey and various other backstops. There is ome used on the Gold Glove model K3-LT-B leather mitt. Those who signed this glove include: Whitey Ford, Enos Slaughter, Hank Bauer, Moose Skowron, Ralph Houk and two others. The others may have been fantasy camp participants. Each of the signatures is endorsed on the orange portion.
