Chuck Connors’ Wool Coat Worn in the FOX-TV Series “Werewolf” w/Family Letter

SKU: 35772 Category:

“Werewolf” was an original series developed by the Fox Network’s broadcast line-up in their initial season, 1987-’88. The show’s cast included Chuck Connors as a villainous drifter named Janos Skorzeny. Connors’ final appearance was in the ninth episode, “Friendly Haven.” The show was ultimately cancelled after 29 episodes, and “Werewolf” was the last television program Connors worked on. Offered is the overcoat that he wore on-screen during the filming of the program. Upon examinination, we discover that this particular garment was the personal property of Chuck Connors, and not supplied from Fox’s wardrobe. The coat is a soft brown wool and made in England by “Aquascutum.” No size tag could be found, but we can safely assume that it’s “extra large.” We’re pleased to report that inside the right arm sleeve is a manila tag with the name “Connors” hand-printed in black ballpoint. The surface was chemically treated in areas to render the appearance of being old and tattered – much like we’d expect in the character, Skorzeny.
