Circa 1960s Phillies Game-Worn Bullpen Jacket, Attributed to Jim Bunning

Philadelphia is a hard-nosed town. Nobody is as tough or supportive as Philly fans are. This Wilson jacket was used by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 1960s. Leather-lined pockets, a chenille Phillies logo and burgundy and white sleeve, collar and tail braiding make this a fashionable marvel. This letterman’s style jacket shows decent use but cannot be attributed to one player. The zipper is fully functional and a leather swatch is located in the back collar. A Wilson manufacturer’s tag resides in the cowl.

This jacket was originally obtained from Jim Bunning’s estate auction which took place a number of years ago. There is no supporting paperwork verifying it as such.
