This collection contains 7 autographs from classic movie and TV stars: Slim Pickens, was an American rodeo performer and film and television actor who epitomized the profane, tough, sardonic cowboy, but who is best remembered for his comic roles, notably in Dr. Strangelove and Blazing Saddles. Bruce Yarnell was an American actor who co-starred in the second season (1961-1962) of NBC’s Western television series Outlaws, set in the lawless Oklahoma Territory. He was also a noted Broadway and opera baritone. Kirby Grant was a long-time movie and television actor, mostly remembered for having played the title role in the Western-themed adventure television series Sky King. Between 1949 and 1954, Grant played the title role in the series of ten Corporal Rod Webb films. Two of his autographs are included, one being a special ‘Sky King, Flying Crown Ranch, Happy Landings!’ printed paper. Foster Brooks, a regular on ‘The Dean Martin Show’ was an American actor and comedian most famous for his portrayal of a lovable drunken man in nightclub performances and television programs. Stuart Whitman is best known for playing Marshal Jim Crown in the Western television series Cimarron Strip in 1967. Whitman also starred with John Wayne in the Western movie, The Comancheros, in 1961, and received top billing as the romantic lead in the extravagant aerial epic Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines in 1965. Broderick Crawford was an American stage, film, radio and TV actor, often cast in tough-guy roles and best known for his portrayal of Willie Stark in All the King’s Men and for his starring role in the television series Highway Patrol. Terry Wilson was an American actor most noted for his role as “Bill Hawks”, the assistant trailmaster, in 267 episodes of the NBC and ABC television Western series, Wagon Train, which aired from 1957 to 1965.
