Collection of 5 Toronto Blue Jays Team-Signed Balls From 1990s (Molitor)
Out of stock
Team-signed baseballs give collectors an opportunity to savor a personal memory. While bats and jerseys provide ample media, no other collectible showcases signatures as does a baseball. One autograph hound pursued the exhausting task of collecting team-signed baseballs from every American League team from approximately 1992-96 unless noted. The following section of 14 lots provides an opportunity to obtain a segment of this effort. Organized by team, and to include five team-signed balls (1992-96 inclusive), each of the baseballs has at least 20 signatures and is secured on an OAL (Brown) or (Budig) ball. The majority of the balls in this section bear clean indentations around the perimeter from mounting, otherwise, all are minimally EX. Clubhouse signatures and an overall grade of the signatures will be noted. All of the signatures are ballpoint and we will note for each the major stars – those anticipated for enshrinement. With few exceptions these signatures are distinct.
During the span which these baseballs were signed, the Blue Jays won two World Series titles. Paul Molitor signed two of the team-signed treasures. There is no Dave Winfield signature present from the ’92 World Series team. The majority of the signatures rate “8” in quality. One baseball has a clubhouse Cito Gaston signature.
