Collection of Seven Signed Racing Photos (Troy Ruttman, Bobby Marshmann)

The sport of racing can have a cruel fate. One moment a racer could be on top of the world and the next he conceivably could be dead. These seven racers, featured on signed Indy 500 post cards, were some of the best racers of their time or would have been if they had lived longer. All of the signatures average (“7-8”) and include: Troy Ruttman, Len Sutton, Jim Hurtibise, Sam Hanks, Eddie Sachs (dec. ’64), Roger Ward and Bobby Marshmann (dec. ’64). All of these signatures come from top-flight racers who put their mark on the sport.
