Description
David Wells nicknamed “Boomer”, is an American former professional baseball pitcher who played 21 seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB) for nine teams. A three-time All-Star and two-time World Series champion, Wells was considered to be one of the game’s better left-handed pitchers, especially during his years with the New York Yankees and the Toronto Blue Jays. In 1998, he pitched the 15th perfect game in baseball history.
Presented is an OAL (Budig) baseball autographed by David Wells. He signed it on the sweet spot in blue ballpoint pen (“9”) it was inscribed “PG 5/17/98”. The ball itself shows toning from age.
