Delino DeShields Game-Used, Signed Bat
Out of stock
Delino DeShields’ claim to fame was that he was basically the central figure in a trade which saw Pedro Martinez get jettisoned to Montreal in the early ’90s. He was a pesky hitter who lasted 13 seasons, and he used this Louisville Slugger R161 bat during the 1990s (1991-97 labeling period). A staple of the majority of DeShields bats is the “BOP” which is burned into the barrel. Moderate use is shown with heavy ball scuffs (mainly black with some blue) and a number of bat rack marks. A light layering of pine tar appears to the uncracked stick (33″ and 31.2 ounces). “4” has been written in black felt tip on the handle.
